Too Smart for His Own Good
Ok, I know Caspian’s getting tall and is very smart, but this is a little crazy. He’s only two and a half!
The other day I left him in the living room for a minute or two. Our DVD player is above our TV, maybe fifty inches off of the floor. I knew he could touch it with his fingertips, but I didn’t know he could operate it! When I came in, he had taken the CD out of the DVD player, swapped it with the Shrek the Third DVD (from its case on a table), put Shrek the Third into the DVD player tray, and I saw him use his fingers to center the disc from underneath before he closed the tray to watch his movie (and he had already turned the TV on).
And we’re gonna have two of these soon…
